Star Factory Lantern did not provide the on-site installation crew for this Singapore project. Our responsibility was to convert the approved visual direction into buildable lantern modules and prepare them for an international installation handoff.

Turning a city-scale concept into transportable lantern modules.
A landmark lantern must read clearly from street level while still being practical to manufacture, pack, transport, and assemble. The 10-metre centerpiece therefore required more than surface decoration: its frame divisions, connection points, illuminated zones, fabric finish, and packing sequence had to work as one coordinated system.

Singapore reporting identified Singapore University of Technology and Design students as contributors to the creative zodiac-lantern concepts. Star Factory Lantern’s role was not to claim sole authorship of those concepts, but to translate the approved direction into manufacturable lantern structures, lighting layouts, surface finishes, modules, and packing plans.
