How We Successfully Launched a Large-Scale Italy Zigong Lantern Festival
Italy Zigong Lantern Festival from the ground up in the historic city of Padua. This grand event, titled “Light of China,” was not a simple product delivery, but a complete showcase deeply integrating design, culture, and authentic Zigong craftsmanship. There’s no way to describe the sense of pride in seeing the lantern displays we built with our own hands, captivating countless visitors under the foreign night sky.
This success has provided us with invaluable experience in operating a large-scale Italy Zigong Lantern Festival in the European market. It proves that our proud traditional craftsmanship has a charm that transcends national borders. Every single lantern set—from the welded steel wire frames to the mounting of colorful silk fabrics and the final installation of lights—is filled with the dedication of our team and master craftsmen from Zigong, making them true, handcrafted works of art with a soul.

How a Successful Italy Zigong Lantern Festival is Born
To successfully host a lantern festival overseas, comprehensive planning is paramount. We chose the scenic Parco d’Europa as our venue in Padua , and to make full use of the vast space and provide visitors with the richest possible experience, we meticulously designed five distinct themed sections.
The lantern designs celebrated seasonal transitions while capturing the warm, nostalgic charm of a traditional British Christmas, making the resort’s ambiance truly enchanting.
Section 02
Five Themed Zones to Showcase Diverse Charm
Creations of Italy Zigong Lantern Festival
These five zones were:
“Traditional Chinese Style,” full of Eastern mystique
“Floral Language of the Silk Road,” telling ancient stories
“Spring, Flowers, and Butterflies,” depicting vibrant life
“Animals and Nature,” showcasing a wondrous world
And “Italian Style,” specially presented for local visitors

The Majestic "Chinese City Tower"
Highlight of Italy Zigong Lantern Festival
At the festival entrance, we erected the giant “Chinese City Tower” lantern display. At 25 meters long and 9 meters high, its red walls and blue tiles glowed brilliantly, instantly transporting visitors into a world of Eastern charm. This structure was more than just an entrance; it was a perfect embodiment of our Zigong craftsmanship’s ability to “turn steel frames into art” and became one of the most popular photo spots of the entire event.
